Same views; new lens.

I don't know where the hours went today but at least I got to find out that the new Nikon lens is much better in low light than the old kit one.

The sky very kindly started to turn pink as we walked and I was pleased I'd remembered Stella's reflective collar and a flashing light for my camera bag. Gets very dark out here very quickly! Don't want to get run down by a maneuvering tractor from the nearby farm or something! 

Some hopefully last bits of Christmas shopping have been done and I had more fruit and vegetables than anything else in my own shopping. Starting to see results from the extra effort, so although I moan about being hungry and miss cake (very much!) I will be pleased in the long run! :)
