Curious & chaotic ...

After church we dashed into London for the Samuel Pepys exhibition at the wonderful National Maritime Museum. Upon arrival we were invited to "step into the curious and chaotic world of history's greatest witness". It was excellent! Full of surprises, full of tragedy and triumph, and humanity at it's best, and sometimes worst. Pepys was described by his friend and artist John Evelyn as a "worthy, industrious and curious person".
