I woke up thinking about the Giant Beagle and our amazing stay a few years ago; it was a real holiday of a lifetime.
Back to reality, and happily my day off. I spent the morning trying to sort out overdue refunds and tax rebates, with mixed success. I spent the rest of the day with Mum with a quick trip to Frinton to stock up on some final Christmas presents. I had to drag myself out for my work's Christmas meal in the evening, which was actually a lot of fun, and rounded off with some extra drinks after the meal.
