Inverleith Park

I don't often tinker with my photos before I upload them to blip, but I thought this little avenue of trees somehow looked more atmospheric in black and white. I love avenues of trees, whether grand or more humble, like this little pathway. There is something comforting about them.

A productive day in the garden, clearing the rockery of rather a lot of weeds and grass that had taken hold. It's an ongoing battle, but for now it looks a little tidier.
