A few of my favourite things

Today we decorated the Christmas tree and, as ever, my Padstow bauble takes pride of place.

Everyone who knows me knows that Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. Padstow is one of my favourite places ever so, to combine the two, is perfect for me.

Added to that there is a shop in Padstow called Tidings that is an all year round Christmas wonderland selling baubles, wreaths and Xmas ornaments even in the summer. I love the idea and always pop in when I visit. My friend is down there for the Christmas Festival currently so I'm hoping she'll return with this years bauble for me to add to my tree as they are slightly different each year.

So my tree is up, I've seen the Coca Cola and John Lewis TV adverts and the presents are all bought and ready to be wrapped. Christmas has officially arrived.
