Alone and Distressed Swan on shore

Started decorating the first of the trees, interrupted by yelping cry every few seconds.Looked up and lone swan walking slowly up the shore onto grass.Went out with bird food ,but he quickly turned back with the howl that Lear makes when he brings Cordelia's lifeless body onto the stage, strolled out to sea and floated away.
