On the cable car up to the tropical gardens.

Not much to do in Calheta, apart from the sugar cane museum, so off to Funchal today ("courtesy" bus cost 19 euros).

Funchal is one of my favourite places to visit. The gardens, indoor market museums  are lovely, though I couldn't persuade my friend Linda to go to the Electricity Museum I enjoyed so much last time.
