Eyes Left!  The Santa Cruz High Marching Band.

This morning kicked off with our local holiday parade. Lots of schoolkids on stilts and unicycles, santa hats on all the dogs, a few political messages (Save the Garden! Feel the Bern!), candycanes catapulted from woodies and T-birds, the librarian book cart drill team draped in tinsel, oh, and Santa Claus himself bringing up the rear, his carriage pulled by two gorgeous draft horses. Great hometown fun to raise your holiday spirits.
