I'd like to think This appeal would work as a survival package but not sure whether the first hurdle can be cleared.
Are there enough active Blippers left to raise that kind of money?

They aim to raise at least £180,000

I estimate there are only around 3,600 regular blippers left so pledges/donations will have to average £50. Many won't bother (for whatever reason) and others may be in countries where it is difficult to support this.

Lets say that half the current Blipping community decide to participate, then donations/pledges from them will have to average nearer £100.

Is that likely?
