BethaBlip 66...
This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.
It was Bethany's birthday this month. Six years old. The original plan was a cinema and pizza trip with a few of her friends but we changed this to a more appropriate and fitting afternoon of face and nail painting. One of Mrs TFP's work colleagues runs a manicuring business and came and decorated Bethany and her four friends' nails. I did the face painting and we had the obligatory party games. It was great fun.
The swimming lessons finished this week. We arrived last week to find the swimming lesson booking queue out the door. We decided against booking there and then and didn't even have her forms with us that said she'd passed level 2 and could go into level 3. When we talked about it later, we decided to just keep going every weekend and I continue teaching both of them for the time being.
Bethany finally go a head way on getting to the bottom of some long standing health issues. She's had a rumbley and upset tummy with all it's associated....outputs. The doctors reckon it's an iron deficiency. She's been given an iron supplement medicine and and acid reflux tablets. It does seem to be working as she is not complained about her ailments so much of late.
I introduced Bethany to Batman this month. We've been reading through one of Kevin Smith's Batman storys during staying up time, after Ewan is in bed.
