The Last Goodbye

The most important window in my life, as CJ helped Dad install this back in June 1980. The rest is history.  

On a clear day, you can see the Bridges from here, a great viewpoint. Storm Desmond doing its worst, torrential rain and strong winds, but it didn't stop the three of us having our last gathering at the family home.

Precious moments and memories shared, then we gently said our farewells.  I sat on their garden seat in the pouring rain for a last look along a very special stretch of water.
