Door in the woods
I found this door this morning near the local nature park. There are many such cellars around to store fruit or vegetables. I would like to say I was here to look at a house but the estate agent didn't turn up. We rang to find out the appointment had been delayed (no one told us). Then he rang to say the key wasn't available until the afternoon. Obviously not interested in a sale. Anyway, hubby would have divorced me if I bought it. The price is negotiable but needs a lot of money injected into it. We haven't even finished renovating our own house and I don't think hubby will want to do another one. I was attracted by the huge ground floor atelier with floor to ceiling windows. (It was owned and built by a well known local artist.) Also by the 2 guest rooms with en suites on the top floor. And the fabulous view and surroundings. It was interesting as I found out a friend had drawn the plans for the house in 1963. He and his wife met us there as he has experience in valuing houses. He brought the beautifully rendered plans with him to show me. Unfortunately, his expertise wasn't needed but I can now get the idea out of my head that I wanted this house! I still love it but it is not practical - see extra.
We leave early hours of Monday morning to the airport for our journey to Australia. I will try to keep blipping....
