Buts Mills commissioning

This afternoon we went to a very different service. In Luton there is a youth ministry called Luton Churches Education Trust, renamed now as Youthscape. They mainly work within schools working with the youth of the town. A few months ago they purchased a new property in Luton town centre - a huge o,dbuilding that used to be a mill. They have been renovating it and today was the commissioning service to celebrate its opening. Unfortunately the building work has not quite gone to p,an and is a bit delayed but the service went on anyway. The service was going to be led by Diane Louise Jordan but unfortunately she had to pull out at the last minute. But they coped!! Instead the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby (Archbishop of Canterbury) took a larger part of the service - and although he has a very silly title he was very good.
