'Pilgrim'

You meet some very interesting people when working in the Tourist Office. Today a gentleman called who had just walked from Thurso to Inverness, the journey taking him fourteen days. The journey up there by train took four hours. He is now heading for Portsmouth where he will get a Ferry over to Spain to continue his walk to Santander. He was pulling his luggage behind him on what looked like a golf trolley and I agreed to keep an eye on it whilst he went to a nearby cafe for a bit of lunch. No idea when he will reach his destination.
