Tour Day 2

After a lovely day that included a trip to the garden centre and just generally pottering about with the boys, I've settled down to watch the football and to do a bit of spinning for Tour de Fleece. Supporting Spain tonight for the purely mercenary reason that I stand to gain a bit of money if they win and so far so good.

The spinning was some gorgeous fibre that I bought from the Etsy shop Giggle Jelly - it's a merino and silk blend (I think - too lazy to go and check). It was all previously spun, tonight's task was to 3-ply it. It's my first straight 3-ply and I'm delighted with how it's turned out. Now to decide what to do with it - weaving I think....
