Leysin from "the air"

.... i.e. the summit of the Grand Chamossaire above Villars this afternoon. The winter season feels like it has now started as three of us "skinned" up the Grand Chamossaire which will soon be opened for the tourist skiers. It was great to get there with no one else around. (Skinning up snow involves putting false seal skins under your skis so they stick to the snow. You release the heels of your boots so that you can walk on your skis, uphill, and get off the beaten track). I think the sea of fog is going to be around for a long time, fine weather is forecast into the foreseeable future. Unfortunately this is not good for the ski season!

We had had a great yoga morning too, with a visiting teacher so I was able to be a pupil, how I appreciated that!

Thanks for all the "presents" for the miniature hut on the ridge yesterday, glad that most of you spotted it!
