The best laid schemes.......

Today was our Club Christmas walk.......and it had to be abandoned because the area we were to walk was completely flooded.    

However, we had a booking for a Christmas Dinner, so we were able to bring that forward a few hours and have it anyhow.  We had our usual raffle...... and I won this splendid Christmas Pudding which was made by one of our walkers.   Looking forward to tasting it!

We also had some games, and quizzes and our team of six won one of the quizzes...... so we each got a prize; mine was a small bottle of Merlot, perfect for having tonight as I watch 'Strictly'.

So all was not lost and we had a nice day, although we were sorry we didn't get our usual walk.
