Wetlands

The weather forecast was too unpredictable for me to risk going walking in the sticks, but my muscles were risking atrophy, so I went out for a long walk by the canal. 5 miles along, at Rodley, I was thinking about turning round when I came upon the nature reserve, which I never knew about. It's a former sewage works that's been turned into a wetland habitat. Very small, but pleasant to walk around - although I suspect the best days are to be had in one of the hides, with binoculars or a very powerful zoom lens. I'm fairly confident I saw some ducks...
But it's nice to find a new place.
