endings.......

I guess we all saw yesterday's message
and I've been thinking about the last year....

In the old days we had a site we loved 
that asked us nicely for £25 a year to be full members
ran on minimal staff
and thanked us when the site was fully funded for that year

then somewhere along the way....
change became the driving force
money was taken
promises were broken
members were pushed out without appeal or even access to their work to download

so is there a proper business model this time....

By the way at the height of last year's disquiet I tried other places
didn't get on with them 

so I'll be here for the duration 

and who knows maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised
