Went out to celebrate my beautiful friend Marie's 40th birthday tonight. This was her amazing cake.

Everybody had a fantastic time, even the kids. Lots of laughs, reminiscing, food and drink. Was so pleased to be part of it all and couldn't imagine being anywhere else but with her as she leaves her 30's behind. A reminder however that my big one beckons early next year (although I'll revel in the fact that she's technically a whole year older than me for a little while longer).

Busy day tomorrow with another Partylite Christmas Fayre and our final party of 2015. Looking forward to a relaxing Sunday putting the tree up, listening to Christmas songs and consuming a massive roast dinner.
