Canal Walk

We woke up to a lovely sunny day and quite mild, so we decided to go out for a long walk next to a part of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal and then around a disused gravel quarry which had been filled in with water and made into a wildlife sanctuary. We had Zion with us as well, so he enjoyed the experience from the backpack on his grandad's back.
From lunch at The Green Man pub in Middleton, to helping my sister peel potatoes and chop marshmallows for a huge dinner to go with a Cabaret happening at their church tomorrow, to being entertained at the dress rehearsal of said Cabaret - all in all a fun filled day!
