Christmas Blossom
Well, I'm not sure if it is actually a Christmas Blossom, but it certainly has all the makings of a great decoration at this time of the year. This blossom is quite unusual because it's not from a Eucalyptus tree but a bush shrub of some description. I have never noticed it growing on Shipley before.
We've had quite a week and finally starting to feel like we're at home once again. After four months on the road, that's apart from a quick 8 day stint in between trips, bit's been quite hard to settle into life again at Wombat Hollow. It was time to get down and dirty and do a spring summer clean. That week of activity certainly helped us feel like we're home again.
We had a lovely night tonight with two wonderful friends. Friends who have looked after me and been there for me since I arrived in Blackheath. It was just great to catch up. It was time to fire up the barbie - I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoyed standing by the barbecue chatting to a friend as the meat is cooking away.
