Cramond

I have some free time on my hands just now, but with winter setting in I haven't been out and about much recently. I decided I needed some fresh air today though, and set out for a walk towards Cramond. It's the first time I've been along there that the tide has been out, and although it wasn't low enough to walk all the way to the island, I walked out quite far and took some photos. I turned back when it began to rain, and thankfully the rain stayed light while I trekked back home to consume a much-needed cup of tea.

This shot is looking out from the shore towards the narrow part of the Forth, where the bridges are. I'm a little concerned about all the trouble with the Forth Road Bridge at the moment; closures will not be welcome.
