It's pantomime time again. Yay!
What a crazy and ridiculous form of entertainment. At the Hackney Empire it's made all the more extravagant and funny with the wit and magic of dame Clive Rowe. It isn't the same without him.
I missed out on pantos as a kid, my mum thought they were stupid, maybe it was her Latvian upbringing. So I've only really grown to appreciate their high camp brilliance since having kids. Thank god for kids.
