Dropped my new old Mac laptop into Simply Fixit for a total overhaul. Then hung out in Costa for a bit messaging back and forth with Jess in Oz, both of us lamenting the 'big birthday' we've got coming up next month (albeit 10 years apart!) then cheering each other up! Met Mary when she finished work for a quick trip to Craigleith and a new (ridiculously expensive) adaptor from Curry's for my ancient Sony - computer stuff sorted and photos now saved in several different places!
