School run; all very orderly; and then onwards for a few calls; then interrupted by a divisional get together (rah rah! We're great! But 1 in 4 of you will lose your job in the next two years, oh well never mind)
So back out after that with renewed scepticism and apathy and actually had an alright day on the bike.

Late late lunch and the bike got ditched for the last 4 in favour of the car; to say it deteriorated would be an understatement; not helped by Tom going to the theatre (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardribe) and the kids coming back half an hour later than billed. A perfect afternoon to be hanging around, waiting.

Left over chicken and ham cobbled together with mushrooms, leek, cheese sauce, and a dash of tarragon; well received.

And I even did homework with both of them. How virtuous do I feel!
