Restenneth Prory

I had planned a walk with friend L. today after lunch in Forfar, but we spent so long chatting that it had got too cold and dull to go far. Instead, we drove to Restenneth Priory, just outside of town, as I hadn't visited it before.

The grey skies did not allow any decent photos, but we spent some time walking around the ruins and were fascinated by some of the very ancient gravestones there. Parts of it date back to the 12th century, so there's a lot of history!

While I was out, my very clever husband fitted a couple of new wall sockets in my study, which may well be the subject of a future blip if things gets desperate:-). They are quite unusual!
