Rain Splash

Awoke before dawn this morning to the sound of heavy rain, which actually began last night while we were at dinner celebrating RaspberryJefe's 1,000th blip. Because my tripod was easily accessible (returned from RaspberryJefe before dinner), I dug out my flash and headed to the palapa for a little rain splash photography. The beauty of my old Canon 7D is that I can use the on camera flash to trigger my off camera speed light allowing for some nice side light as the rain pounded down. A fun way to start the day, coffee in hand.
