WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!

This picture denotes our victory pose - Josh and Kyle doing the famous 'slut drop', alongside some Stavros Flatley worthy stances and Ben being Ben.

Sailing and mooring up for the last time was very sad...BUT we had more important things to worry about...in 2 hours we would find out what classification we got for our degrees and as a result whether some of us actually had jobs to go to or not!!! To say we were nervous wrecks is an understatement...especially Miss Dwyer who was inconsolable!

Wanting to be dressed and ready for the dreaded phone call from the Management School we took our last degree free trip to the showers and dolled up. Melody's Mum was worse than the kids by the way...she was on straight Ouzo a good half hour before results were in!

All huddled round the cockpit we phoned the management school...and one by one we were handed the phone and given our results with the promise to keep dead pan faces until we all knew....

Now...before we got these results...Dwyer said if she got a 2:2 she would just burst into tears and run off the boat....when the phone was handed to her....she burst into tears and ran off the boat!!! We freaked out!!!...But...SHE'D ONLY GONE AND BAGGED HERSELF A FIRST....numpty!! And the rest of us - 2:1's we couldn't be happier!! So many happy tears and squealing, hugging, popping of champagne...was beautiful!! We completely freaked out residents of neighbouring yachts but we didn't care! Nearest and dearest were called...with a few more tears...we've never felt so happy! Melody's Mum was so happy she didn't hesitate when handed a bottle of vodka and Ouzo - taking swigs from both! Legend!

After calming...a little...we made it to a restaurant where the girls were dragged up to dance with the Greek band playing...this led to Melody's Mum doing her own solo traditional Greek dance to a full restaurant without even being prompted!!

After the meal and lots of love and hugs from Mr and Mrs. W before they went back to the boat, we went in search of a club! After walking about an HOUR we found Whispers......about 10 shots each...dancing on a podium...making new sailing buddies...slut drops...crazy dancing and doing our routine to Call Me Maybe in front of a crowded club...AMAZING.

We NEARLY SAFELY made it home...Stef found a goal post she HAD to try and swing from...and ended on her back.

Watching the sunrise from the boat Melody thought...yes...life can be pretty damn amazing.

The impossible can be possible - congratulations to all Lancaster Graduates,

Much love,

Dwelody xx
