The Equestrian Centre

For a year or so, a giant construction project has been going on at the outskirts of our walking areas in the oak nature preserve. We might have blipped it at some point, but now it is nearly finished so we went there to have a look. I was on the lookout for bats, who live in another, older, building on the way, and, of course horses.

As it was, we saw none of them. The complex, home to two indoor riding arenas and around sixty horses, is huge even if it looks small in this picture. Mum says we'll go back when the horses have actually moved in. Enthusiastically. I like it better this way...
