Unused

This bird's nest was made on our bird table 4 or 5 years ago.  It has never been used by birds: it is right beside a wall that our cats used to walk along every day, and I think the birds must have realised their mistake as soon as it was complete.  (Although, I would have thought they would notice while they were building it!)

The nest was beautifully contructed, and has lasted well although it's worn a bit now, and the honeysuckle is trying to strangle it.  It upsets me to see plastic items in birds' nests, but I suppose they are sturdy and light, so attractive materials for the birds.
