In The Occupied Territory

How sad

Tony Benn will be severely spinning in his grave as his sone got a rousing applause from the Tories today in Parliament during the 'Bomb Syria' debate.
Several things arise from this: The fact his father hated war and killing, the fact that Tony Blair led a government gung-ho into a senseless war and the lesson hasn't been learnt, and on an aside, the fact that the SNP party were severely criticised on the occasions that they applauded in Parliament, being told, " One doesn't do such a thing."
Will the papers be point this out?
Don't hold your breath.

How sad it is that Cameron is hell bent on killing, yet never withdrawing his remarks that anybody who doesn't back the bombing are terrorist supporters.

Despite being asked many, many times over the ten hour debate.

Anyway, this picture was taken as I was parked on Schoolhill waiting for a passenger. The building on the left is the Academy shopping centre, then it's The Triple Kirk bar and night club, and the lights in the background is the Rosemount edge of the Winter Festival/ Christmas Market.
I have put on another view in the Extra.

I had this lady in my taxi years ago. She was a bit snooty.
