Capulalpam

Today we hiked through the pine forests that surround villages high in the Sierras. Capulalpam was designated a Pueblo Magico (Magic Town) by the government as part of a program to help the economies of these far flung villages and encourage people to stay, rather than moving to cities or immigrating to the US or Canada. 
I have visited as several Pueblos Magicos in other parts of the country, and each had its own special magic.
