This is my first cousin from Glasgow. Him, his late sister, Susan and I grew up together. I Blipped his girlfriend yeterday.

When he comes to visit we literally start chatting the second he walks through the door, and only stop to drink, eat and visit the toilet. The subjects covered this weekend included the travails of Rangers FC, the Greek sovereign debt and the swimming attire of gypsy women. We regularly finish each other's sentences, and there's little hope of anyone else getting a word in edgeways - that can be the source of a little domestic friction...

The recycling bin is full of wine bottles - evidence of a very late night. However this lunchtime we took a wander round North Berwick harbour, had lunch in the sun, and an ice-cream from the Luca's van.
