Sun through a geranium

Walked into town along the river. Lovely sunny day but quite windy. We were searching for outfits for graduation day. I headed to the sale rail in East and found two lovely dresses. Ended up buying them both but I think I know which one will be the graduation outfit.

Looked at smart jackets and trousers for husband in M&S and got him sorted out too. Just need to order a shirt online in the right size to finalise his outfit. Son number two to tackle next.

Bought some maps of Snowdonia to try and work out where our holiday cottage, Chalet, glorified shed is. Looks promising.

Did some more pond watching and then fell asleep on a picnic blanket mid-read. So nice to be out in the garden even if it was a bit windy and changeable. Managed to spot the newt again after dark. It does not seem to be put off by us finding it with a torch and we watched as it caught more chironomid larvae.
