8.10am Sunrise with Reflections
12.3C starting wet then clearing. Becoming milder with a bright afternoon. Wind to 26 mph with gusts to 38 mph moderating to a light breeze.
When Maeve the Deerhound went out for our first walk of the day there was a very colourful sunrise. Up near the church I could see the colours reflected in the huge puddles in the field nearest our house.
Apothecary7's day off. We went into Dundee, had tea/coffee and croissants in M&S cafe, then drove along to Broughty Ferry. I parked near the castle and we had a walk round town, calling in at one or two shops, before walking back along the riverside/seafront.
On the way home we stopped in Carnoustie to visit the Post Office for Christmas stamps, and for a stamp for a small packet that will go further afield.
After lunch Apothecary7 and I took Maeve for a walk. We went up to the church and carried on out the road towards Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path then turned up the road to the shore to get home.
Later we each started work on three new papier-mâché pieces.
