A Blowy Day at the Duck Pond

"Lovely day for taking pictures" was the call from a cyclist as I wandered back to the van. 'It will be when I get home", I replied. What i couldn't understand was that my camera was tucked away in a smallish Crumpler bag and the tripod I was carrying was pretty small too. I don't know if it was someone I knew from somewhere. This is Stover Lake and this is a mix of two shots, one long and one short exposure. The ducks and a couple of swans all disappeared nicely in the long exposure. It's been a bit of a miserable day but the drizzle was kind enough to stop for me while I was there. The Christmas cards I had printed arrived today and my 2016 calendars came a couple of days ago. Is there anything else I need to do for Christmas? Hmm, I expect there is.
