Festival of Trees

This is our Hanover Garden Club tree entry for the Hanover Historical Society's Festival of Trees event, Stetson House Museum, Hanover, Massachusetts. Our Victory Garden Tree is in the newly set up Military History Room. I managed to join the decorating fun this morning and am feeling much more like myself. 

There will be at least six other groups decorating trees this week. The opening is this weekend with a private evening showing on Friday for Historical Society members only. I'll be one of the tour folks Friday night. With the admission visitors will recieve 5 tickets at the door to be placed in baskets of their choice by each tree. Winners will be drawn from each basket and a local moving company will deliver the trees to the winners. I also was asked to donate a framed photograph for a silent auction, this was my offering, Converging Walls, taken in our woods.
