Another day. Another crematorium.

I seem to be visiting a few crematoria at the moment. Thought I might start rank ordering them. My favourite at the moment is in Sandwell. It is very modern and has a beautiful big window looking out across the fields..

This one is Perry Barr Crematorium in Birmingham. It was built in 1903. I haven't been inside yet. Will report back later!

Very high, very brick, lots of beautiful wood and old glass.

It was the third crematorium to be built in the UK and for many years covered the whole of Wales and Scotland as well as much of England.

Fancy that!
