Moth Mayhem

I was astonished to look out at the Billabong this morning and find there were literally dozens of tiny moths (well I think they're tiny moths).  When I looked closer I could see that there were other insects there as well.  Now this would have been a good shot for Tiny Tuesday!!  It's also quite interesting to view the large version.

It happens every now and again.  I have no idea why, but it's interesting that they can't swim.  That would be handy I guess, but then again for a tiny moth it would be like swimming the English Channel.  I bet there's a blipper out there that has an answer to their dilemma.
