A Thousand Bell's

An installation by Laura Belem in York St Mary's
which is an extension of York Art Gallery.
It is a contemporay exhibition made up of
1000 hand blown clapperless bells, suspended on
fine wires from the ceiling of the nave.
Being silent the experience is accompanied by
a polyphonic sound piece..
Its quite a sight and maybe best viewed large.
