Airmens Mess, circa 1960

We are currently re-doing the flooring in the Airmens Mess on base, which is ridden with bora. When the guys were pulling up the floorboards, they found all sorts of treasures, including this old soda bottle from around the 60's, along with various other bottles, cigarette packets etc. But this one was the coolest!

They've only just started so I'm looking forward to seeing what other treasures they find over time.
