Café Culture

I went to Manchester today for a little wander round the Christmas Markets. I'm not big on Christmas, but I do like the sights and smells of a good Christmas Market. My favourite is the local Victorian one at Kelham Island Industrial Museum, but it's only on for a weekend, and as we'll be away, I'll miss it this year.
I thought it might be fun to try out one of the colour filter effects on my new camera - this is just the sort of occasion I bought it for.  The smoking ban has certainly done wonders for street café culture in this country. When I were a lass, the well-off would be firmly ensconced indoors in the Kardomah Café, whereas nowadays, anybody and everybody can be seen out on the pavement outside Starbuck's in St Ann's Square.
