Not one, but two herons today!  Walking along I suddenly spied what looked like a hide (it certainly wasn't there the other day.  Fabulous to look at the islands where the herons were today ::) :)

In other news, I was glad I had an appointment at long last to have my ears syringed today!  When I got there though, the nurse thought she knew better than the Dr who'd sent me there....and proceeded to tell me she wasn't going to syringe my ears unless something or other didn't show!  Anyway I got away with one being syringed, not a pleasant experience but at least I can hear a bit better....
