Christmas Street Lights on The Royal Mile

This new installation fill the High Street and brings Edinburgh's Christmas south from St Andrews Square and Princes Street to the Old Town.

The lights were switched on this evening. I did not make a special journey to see that but was in the Old Town for an important business dinner meeting. I always have me camera with me!

Not sure that there was much to do with St Andrew's Day here, or indeed Christmas, but the event was sponsored by The Virgin M .... !
