Tiny Tuesday - Cloves

I had no inspiration whatsoever for today, until I began to prepare the red cabbage. The cloves! Lovely, knobbly, interesting shaped little fellows. 
Some of these have now met their death amongst the red cabbage, cooking apple, onion, red wine vinegar, fennel seeds, nutmeg and cinnamon.
