John Napier and his bones

I was at the Merchiston Campus of Edinburgh Napier University today. Merchiston Castle where Napier was born stands among the campus buildings. As I passed this sculpture I thought it looked as if he was checking his mobile phone! There is a great story about Napier and his black cockerel
