Pond and Mallards

Work this morning meant speaking with students as well as with my line manager. More marking during the afternoon until an appointment in the late afternoon, with my GP.
 
The weather is dull, overcast and at times wet; the wind has died down a little from yesterday, but not very much.
 
Today’s picture is of our now, very full pond, which is overflowing a little at the edges. The Mallards have returned and although there are only two on the pond there were at least twenty more nearby. The Moorhens have also been back for a few days now. It looks as though we should clear up the fallen leaves!
