Pruning & Preparation

Lots of activity on the streets today......
the local council gardeners are pruning the hundreds of trees, that line the streets, providing us with shade during the summer months........
each team is cutting off the branches, and then, more importantly, shredding the branches and leaves, turning them into mulch, which is then used as a fertiliser to encourage growth next year.
I spoke to the man in my Blip, and he was able to tell me, in great detail, what was going on.
