Original Haller
No kids, this isn't a pre lunar module from star wars, it's a vintage kerosene stove your grandma's mother used daily!
Haller "Origineel" kerosene stoves date from somewhere around 1900 and were produced until 1975!!! by Georg Haller Co of Ottensen (Hamburg), Germany.
The Industrial Revolution in Europe was in full vogue, with rural residents being displaced to the cities to find work, so virtually any habitable structure was considered livable even without a kitchen. In those conditions, a Haller stove was indispensable. The most common Haller stove encountered is the single wick design, but models with 2, 3 and even 4 wicks were manufactured.
As a kid I recall my grand mums using these enameled steel constructed stoves in their kitchen that smelled like petroleum, glad I found this one in a little rural museum :-)
